I'm Naomi,

This website is my creative archive. A way of looking back at a journey I'm in the midst of.

I came to making things late, or at least that's how it felt. As a kid I wanted to draw and make art and at some point decided I wasn't good at it and left that part of myself behind. It took me until my early twenties to understand that was never really the point. The past few years have been a lesson in understanding that it's not about being good at art. It's about art being good for you.

Discovering landscape architecture felt like an extension of that same journey. I was drawn to it because it sits at the intersection of everything I care about most: design, ecology, and creating spaces that change how we experience the world around us.

Since then I've led painting workshops, and during a semester in Munich I found myself in a creative community that gave me the chance to lead people through the same things I had learned myself about creating. The throughline is always the same: discovery. Understanding myself through the act of creating, and helping other people feel comfortable enough to do the same. Glad you're here!
